Meet the Owners

Hi! I’m Melissa, and this is my husband, Kris.

About a year ago, we moved across the country from Los Angeles with our 4-month-old twins in tow. It was a big leap — leaving behind family, friends, and everything familiar. We had planned this move for years, but becoming a family of four made it all the more meaningful.

What we didn’t expect was how limited the options were for families with young children. The summers were intense, and I found myself stuck indoors or rushing to parks early in the morning just to avoid the heat. That’s when the idea for Play Harbor was born.

We dreamed of a space where little ones could play safely, stay cool, and spark their imaginations — all while parents could relax, connect, and feel part of a community. A place that felt like home away from home.

Throughout this journey, I partnered with many people, but it was Kris — my biggest supporter — who truly helped turn this dream into reality. He made the early sacrifices and stood by me every step of the way.

We’re so excited to welcome you to Play Harbor. Whether you’re here to play, celebrate a birthday, or just meet other families, we hope this becomes your child’s favorite place — and yours too.

Thanks for being part of our story. We can’t wait to meet you.

About Us

Welcome to Play Harbor – a cozy, thoughtfully designed indoor playground created with both kids and parents in mind.

At just 1,400 square feet, our space is intentionally small and exclusive, offering a safe, welcoming environment where families can truly feel at home. At the heart of Play Harbor is our custom-designed, two-story soft play structure — built to spark imagination, encourage movement, and support the growing minds and motor skills of young children.

We believe play should be joyful and stress-free for parents. That’s why we’ve carefully arranged our layout to include comfortable seating with full visibility from every angle — so you can relax while still keeping an eye on your little one.

To make your visit even more enjoyable, our mini café offers a selection of bottled beverages and pre-packaged snacks, perfect for a quick refresh. Need a quiet moment? Our private parent lounge provides a calm retreat for nursing, comforting a fussy toddler, or simply catching your breath.

As local parents ourselves, we created Play Harbor to fill a much-needed gap in family entertainment — a place where children can thrive, and parents can recharge. Whether you’re here for playtime, a birthday celebration, or to connect with your community, we’re so glad you found us.

We can’t wait to welcome you to the Harbor!
